Pray This Prayer
Heavenly Father, today, I ask that You help me change my perspective. You know how prone I am to look at the negative aspects of things. It’s not that I want to be a negative person, but there are times where I just cannot get my thoughts to align with Yours. Your Word teaches me that Your ways are higher than mine, and so are Your thoughts.
Help me to start thinking on a higher level. I do not want to lose heart, even when it feels like I am wasting away. Help me to fix my eyes on the things that are not seen, so I can better experience Your blessings in my life. Help me to be more content, recognizing Your glorious provision in everything that I do.
I know that I can change my perspective on everything through You, for You give me strength. In Christ’s name, Amen.

Heavenly Father, thank You for giving me the things that I have. Even when I feel like my job is nothing but a source of stress, thank You for giving me a way to earn an honest living. When I feel overwhelmed by family demands, thank You for giving me people who love me. When I feel like what I have isn’t enough, thank You for giving me what I need. In Christ’s name, Amen.
