We come before you with hearts full of gratitude for the dedicated nurses and doctors who tirelessly serve as your healing hands on Earth. In their selfless pursuit of alleviating suffering and restoring health, they embody the compassion and care that you have shown us throughout history.
Lord, we pray for nurses and doctors, who often work long hours and face immense challenges. Grant them strength, resilience, and unwavering faith to carry out their noble mission. May they find comfort in the knowledge that their service is a reflection of your love for humanity.
Bless their hands, O Lord, that they may bring comfort to the afflicted, relief to the suffering, and healing to the broken. Guide their minds to make wise decisions, and fill their hearts with empathy and kindness as they minister to those in need.
We also pray for their protection, Lord, especially in times of uncertainty and danger. Shield them from harm, both physical and emotional, as they confront illness and pain. Surround them with a network of support and encouragement, enabling them to continue their sacred work.
Lord, grant them the wisdom to see beyond the symptoms and ailments, to recognize the dignity and worth of each patient, and to treat all with compassion and respect.
