Heavenly Father,
We come before you with grateful hearts, seeking your guidance and blessing as we begin a new week. Your word reminds us in Proverbs 16:3: “Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans.” We commit this week into your loving hands, trusting that you will establish our plans according to your perfect will.
We pray for wisdom and discernment in all our decisions, just as Solomon prayed in 1 Kings 3:9: “So give your servant a discerning heart to govern your people and to distinguish between right and wrong.” May we have the wisdom to make choices that honor you and benefit those around us.
Lord, grant us strength and endurance for the challenges we may face, knowing that in Philippians 4:13, your word tells us, “I can do all things through him who gives me strength.” May we find our strength in you as we navigate the days ahead.
In Psalm 119:105, we are reminded that “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” May your word illuminate our path this week, showing us the way to go and helping us avoid stumbling.
We pray for opportunities to show love and kindness to others, as instructed in Galatians 5:13: “You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love.” Help us to be instruments of your love and grace, reaching out to those in need.
Lord, protect us from harm and evil, as stated in Psalm 91:11-12: “For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways. They will lift you up in their hands so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.” We trust in your divine protection.
Finally, we thank you for the promise of a good week ahead, as declared in Jeremiah 29:11: “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.” We hold on to this promise, knowing that you have good plans for us.
In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
