If you have experienced a job loss or are searching for a better job to support yourself or your family, there’s a good chance that you’re experiencing fear, frustration, and any other number of emotions.
While you have undoubtedly seen the hand of God and His supernatural provision along the way, it’s still a difficult to face the uncertainty associated with looking for a job while still trying to juggle the issues of unemployment. God has not forgotten you in the middle of your unemployment, and He is still more than able to provide you with the income source that you need.
Pray These Verses:
2 Corinthians 9:8 (NIV)
And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.
Philippians 4:19 (NIV)
And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.
Psalm 37:25 (NIV)
I was young and now I am old, yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken or their children begging bread.
Pray This Prayer:
God, I know that You are completely aware of my employment situation, and I know that Your Word teaches me that You have gone ahead of me, so none of this came as a surprise to You. But Lord, You also know that I am scared, terrified even, of the lack of employment and the lack of income that I’m experiencing. Today, God my request is twofold.
First of all, I’m asking You to give me the kind of peace that You gave David when He said that he had been young but even when he was old, he had never seen the righteous forsaken or their children begging for bread.
Help me to stand on the promises of Your Word, the promises like Paul the one that wrote to the Philippian Church when he said that You would meet all of their needs according to Your riches in glory.
God, I need Your peace to get through this period of uncertainty, but that is only half of my prayer today. Additionally, God, I’m asking You to please provide me with some source of gainful employment, knowing that You are able to bless abundantly, so that in all things at all times, I will have everything I need. I will use anything that You bless me with for good and to spread the truth of Your love, in Christ’s name, Amen.

Lord, I want to thank You for answering my prayers even before I see the answers coming to fruition, as I know that You are at work even when it looks like nothing is happening on the surface.
Thank You for meeting all of my needs up until this point in my life and including many of my wants just because You love me. Thank You for always meeting my needs and the unfailing promises of Your Word.
