We will all face difficult times in life which will make it hard to find and identify joy. However, God has given us His word to show how we can maintain joy and remember His blessings during these difficult times. Because of this, we would like to share six Bible verses that you can read to remind yourself of God’s love and blessings.
Psalms 30:5
This verse talks about how God will show His anger in a moment, but He does so to bring favor onto us. We may also weep at times, but the day will come when our joy will return to us. This means that we can overcome the challenges and trials that we face, even when we sin, and God will always be happy to bring us back to joy.
Isaiah 12:3
This scripture is short and sweet. It explains that we shall feel joy as we draw water from the wells of salvation. This means that God will give us joy when we do our best to believe in Him and seek out salvation. This will allow us to enjoy those blessings and return to His presence.
Matthew 5:12
Jesus’ disciples would sometimes face persecution and struggles in life, just like all of us. In this verse, Jesus reminds us that we will be glad and feel joy when we receive our reward in heaven. He reminds us that even prophets were persecuted for doing what’s right, so this may happen to us at times. However, we can still feel joy knowing the rewards that God will give us.
John 16:22
Christ reminds us that we will sometimes face sorrow. He points out that He sees the sorrow in others, but that we should rejoice. This is because we will see Christ again and that no one will be able to take that joy away from us when He returns.
2 Corinthians 7:4
Paul was talking to the Corinthians during this verse and explaining that he feels comfort and joy despite the tribulations that they face. This is because God will continue to guide and help us despite the troubles that we face, so we can feel joy and comfort by remembering this fact.
1 Peter 4:13
This is another reminder that we can rejoice and overcome the sufferings that we face. Christ Himself suffered to take upon Him the sins of the world and that we will see His glory again. This means that we can continue to rejoice and look towards that day with joy in our hearts.
Conclusion
We will face difficult moments in our lives, but we can remember the joy that God gives to us. We can also think about His blessings and work through the trials that we face, just like Job did. We just need to remain strong and look for comfort in God’s word.
