According to studies, there are roughly 2.2 billion Christians in the world. While that number is most definitely something that we should celebrate, it’s also a staggering figure. It’s staggering because there are more than roughly 8 billion people on the planet, meaning that there are approximately 6 billion unsaved individuals. As Christians, we know that we are called to share the Gospel with as many people as we can. We know that we must allow our faith to become an important part of who we are so the unsaved around us can see the change that God has made in us. We know that we should be ready to answer questions about the faith that we have. However, we are also called to pray for those around the world who do not know Christ. Today, ask God: reveal Yourself to those who do not know You yet.

Pray This Prayer and Ask God: Reveal Yourself
Heavenly Father, my heart aches for the billions of people in this world who do not know You. I am moved by the fact that there are so many people who do not know the peace that can only come from a relationship with You. I am burdened for their souls. Heavenly Father, reveal Yourself to them through the power of the Holy Spirit. For those who have heard about You, give them a zeal that is based on a personal knowledge of You. My heart’s desire is that the unsaved will become saved. You have promised that You will give them a heart of flesh in exchange for their heart of stone. God, call them. Equip those of us who know You to share Your Gospel with them. In Christ’s name, Amen.

Heavenly Father, thank You for the people who stand and preach Your Word so the world may be saved. Thank You for those who go to the unreached corners of the globe to spread the Gospel. Thank You for calling me to share Your Good News with the people I interact with. Thank You for Your saving power, as I know without it, I would be lost. In Christ’s name, Amen.
