Each of us will have to deal with trying times and this can cause us to feel scared and alone. Even though we do feel alone at times, whether we commit sin or if we face a major trial, we need to keep our minds towards God and his love.
He will listen to us as we pray and we can ask for His help to overcome our weaknesses and trials.
Remember that many prophets felt alone when they faced trying times in the Bible. Job lost everything, Saul had to overcome his sins before he became Paul and Peter felt alone when the Savior was taken to die on the cross.
Despite the troubles that we face in life, we can always turn towards the Word of God and prayer to help us.
With that in mind, we would like to share some scriptures to remind you that you are never alone.
A God of Patience: Romans 15
This entire chapter discusses how God is patient when we face trials or when we sin. Along with this, the chapter reminds us that we should also be patient with others and show love towards them. That is another reason why we are never alone: because we and others are one in Christ, so we can turn towards people of our faith.
We are never physically alone since we have others around us or spiritually alone because the God of peace is with us.
Romans 12:12
This scripture is short, but it reminds us to be strong during the difficult times and that we can receive strength from God. We can rejoice knowing that we have hope in Christ, we should remain patient when we face troubling times and we should continuously pray.
This way, we can remain grateful towards God and seek His help to overcome our troubles.
Romans 15:4-6
This scripture reminds us of the importance of church. Even though you will have church leaders and members of the congregation, you need to remember that everyone has a role in God’s plan. Each person has a gift that they can contribute to others: some may be charitable while others may have a strong knowledge of the scriptures.
This scripture reminds us that we can always ask for help from those in our churches.
James 1:4
We can be demanding in our lives and expect things to happen in a way that we want them to. This scripture reminds us that we can be better people as we focus on patience and invite it into our lives. This way, instead of expecting or wanting something from God, we can be patient and He will help us according to his time table.
Focus on building your patience when you feel alone and God will deliver you from your struggles.
Luke 8:15
This scripture talks about the Parable of the Sower. In this parable, a sower places seeds in different types of land, so some of the seeds survive and others don’t. These seeds symbolize God’s word and the ground represents our need to have an honest and good heart so we can plant the seed.
This scripture reminds us that we can read the Word of God, apply it to our lives and remain patient so we can feel God’s love through His scriptures.
Psalms 24:1
Psalms is always an excellent place to seek advice and comfort in our lives. This particular verse talks about how the entire world belongs to God along with the people that live on it. We are each alive on this world and God watches out for us because He loves us.
This means that God can watch over all of us, so we never need to feel alone since He knows what we are facing in our lives.
Hebrews 12:1-2
We are reminded that we can treat life like a race. This scripture reminds us that Christ went through many trials in His life, including giving His life for everyone, so we can remain strong and overcome our struggles. Even though we will face issues that will weigh us down and we will commit sin, God wants us to push through it and finish the race.
This means that it doesn’t matter that we sometimes make mistakes or struggle, but what does matter is that God will help us throughout our lives as we believe in Him.
Psalms 37:7-9
We will sometimes feel tempted to get mad at others or direct our negative feelings towards people. However, this scripture reminds us that we should wait for the Lord with patience as we seek rest through Him. So be strong, continue to pray and wait for God to help you through the current trials in your life.
Proverbs 16:32
We are reminded that patience will involve us learning to control our anger and maintain control over our spirits. If we do this, then we will be better than those who seem mighty and who take over cities. This means that God promises to bless us with a strong spirit as we focus on controlling our own anger while nourishing our spirits.
So we know that God will watch over us and help us to develop these stronger values.
Conclusion
It’s easy for us as people to fall into a rut and feel as if we are all alone. Even if we have others around us, we may still feel alone in our minds and our hearts. However, we need to be patient and remember that God is always with us, so we are never truly alone since He will be there.
We can always turn towards God and rely on Him to help us through the difficult moments in our lives.
