As a child of God, every day that you wake up brings a new day of spiritual warfare to your life. While the Word of God assures us that we are victorious because of our relationship with Christ, it is important that we take the right approach to this ongoing warfare against our enemy, Satan.
Constantly communicating with God about the battle that you’re engaged in is one of the most important aspects of walking in the victory that God has promised to His people. Today, ask God for the strength and courage that you need to withstand the battle that is a constant part of your life.

Ephesians 6:11-12 (NIV)
Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
2 Corinthians 10:4-6 (NIV)
The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ And we will be ready to punish every act of disobedience, once your obedience is complete.

Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that the family of believers throughout the world is undergoing the same kind of sufferings.
Pray This Prayer
Heavenly Father, I know that when I became a member of Your family, I put myself in a position to be faced with ongoing spiritual warfare. The enemy, Satan wants to eliminate everyone who professes the holy name of Jesus Christ, and I am happy to be among that number.
Help me to put on the full armor of God every day that I wake up. Most of all, help me to recognize the advances of the enemy so that I can react to them quickly. I know that he is prowling about like a roaring lion, but I also know that I am protected by the Lion of the Tribe of Judah. Help me to engage in warfare daily while using the weapons that You have given me access to. In Christ’s name, Amen.

Heavenly Father, thank You for the promise of victory in every area of my life. Thank You for giving me access to the weapons of this warfare that are not of this world. Instead, You have given me weapons that have divine power and are capable of destroying strongholds. Thank You for allowing me to live a victorious life because of my relationship with You.
