Heavenly Father,
I come before You in humble reverence, seeking Your guidance and protection through the intercession of a guardian angel, just as Your word in Psalm 91:11 proclaims:
“For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways.”
Lord, I acknowledge that You have assigned angels to watch over and protect us, and I am grateful for the promise of their presence in my life. I pray, O God, that You may assign a guardian angel to be by my side, to guide me in Your ways, to shield me from harm, and to strengthen me in times of trial.
As Your word in Hebrews 1:14 tells us:
“Are they not all ministering spirits sent out to serve for the sake of those who are to inherit salvation?”
I trust in Your divine wisdom and providence, knowing that Your angels are mighty and faithful servants who carry out Your will. I ask for the grace to be aware of their presence and to heed their guidance as they lead me closer to You.
In the name of Jesus Christ, I also seek protection from any spiritual forces that may seek to harm me, for You have assured us in Ephesians 6:12:
“For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.”
Lord, let Your angels stand guard against these spiritual forces, and grant me the discernment and strength to resist their influence.
Finally, I pray that my guardian angel may help me grow in faith, hope, and love, as Your word in 1 Corinthians 13:13 reminds us:
“So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love.”
May my guardian angel inspire me to love You and my neighbors more deeply, and may they continually lead me toward eternal salvation.
I offer this prayer in faith and gratitude, trusting that You, O Lord, will provide me with a faithful guardian angel to guide and protect me throughout my earthly journey. Amen.
