Lord, I Need a Miracle

2 Mins read

Are you facing something in your life that seems to be insurmountable? Perhaps you find yourself standing at the foot of a spiritual mountain that you know you will never be able to climb on your own. Child of God, you are not on your own. The mountain in front of you is not bigger than the God who lives inside you!

We serve a God who specializes in making the impossible possible. Today, if you find yourself needing a miracle, take heart. The same God who performed miracle after miracle in Scripture is still on the throne of Heaven and is still performing miracles for His people today.

Pray These Verses
Deuteronomy 10:20-21 (NIV)
Fear the Lord your God and serve him. Hold fast to him and take your oaths in his name. He is the one you praise; he is your God, who performed for you those great and awesome wonders you saw with your own eyes.

Mark 9:23-24 (NIV)
“’If you can’?” said Jesus. “Everything is possible for one who believes.” Immediately the boy’s father exclaimed, “I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief!”

Matthew 17:20 (NIV)
He replied, “Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”

Pray This Prayer
Heavenly Father, You know what I’m facing. You know how impossible this entire situation seems to me. However, I know that the things that are impossible for me are simple for You. I know that You are the God who has performed great and awesome wonders that I have seen with my own eyes, and today, I am asking You to perform another one. Father, You are fully aware of the doubt that I feel like I can’t overcome. I believe that You are more than capable of handling my situations but help me with the remnants of unbelief that are holding me back. Your Word promises that faith will allow me to tell the mountain in front of me to be moved, and that’s what I’m doing. Do what I cannot do, God. In Christ’s name, Amen.

Thank God
Heavenly Father, thank You for being a God who works miracles for Your people. I know that You are the same God who parted the Red Sea for Israel. You are the same God who caused the sun to stand still for Joshua. You are the same God who caused Goliath to fall at David’s feet. I am not calling out to a God who has never done the impossible. I am calling out to the One who makes the impossible possible. Thank You for Your power and for the peace that You give me in the face of adversity. In Christ’s name, Amen.
